Huzzle Cast Helix

The grooves drawn in the two rotating plates are called “logarithmic spirals.” These two grooves always cross at right angles and one obtains a square opening at the point of intersection. The goal of this Huzzle puzzle is to remove the through the square opening. The inspiration for this brainteaser is dawn. The design mimics the budding of a flower bud between intertwined tendrils. The original concept dates back to 1990, but was enriched with additional search work. The theme for this Huzzle puzzle is “Flower.”
