Metal Earth Iconx ST Basil Cathedral
Saint Basil’s Cathedral is a former church in Red Square, Moscow, Russia. Today the cathedral is a museum, officially it it the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Mother of God. It was built in 1555 by order of Ivan IV (Ivan the Terrible), in honor of his victory over the Volga Tartars in the city of Kazan. The building is considered one of the most beautiful Russian Orthodox churches and is the main focal point of Red Square.
