Ugears Star Wars TIE Fighter

Step into the dark side of the Star Wars universe with the TIE Fighter™ from Ugears‘ licensed Star Wars™ collection. Featuring a spherical cockpit and hexagonal wings, the Twin Ion Engine (TIE) Fighter is the iconic combat aircraft of the Galactic Empire. Agile but vulnerable, this ship is a feared opponent in air combat and in support of ground forces. Not to be missed in the Star Wars movies.

This DIY wooden model kit includes the TIE Fighter and a stand that looks like the surface of the Death Star. The ship is magnetically attached to the stand so you can easily place and remove it. Inside the stand is a small battery-powered motor that allows the ship to move realistically. Two laser cannon towers rotate sideways for a barrage against incoming X-Wings. The cockpit on top opens to reveal a detailed interior, while the wings contain cardboard elements for added detail.

The TIE Fighter runs on three AA batteries (not included) or via USB Type-C (powerbanks and cable not included). The stand is compatible with that of Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter from the same Ugears Star Wars collection. So you can create a larger Death Star surface and be in the middle of the action of the famous Trench Run scene.
